High School
MLCA strives to be more than just an academic institution. The needs of the whole child must be met. As a result, we emphasize spiritual, artistic, athletic, and social growth. We encourage our students to use their gifts and talents to glorify God, to serve others, to build leadership, to enrich their lives, and to expand their horizons.
Makua Lani is a Kamehameha School Collaborator and accepts the Kipona Scholarship for 9th grade students. The application process for the 2021-2022 school year is open to eligible students and can be found at ksbe.edu
Academics
Students have many opportunities to participate in all areas at Makua Lani. In addition to the core academics, we offer multiple extra-curricular activities including student government, Biblical Leadership, athletics, dances, and performing arts.
