Makua Lani Christian Academy graduation class of 2019

May 1st signifies the National Decision Day for students heading off to college in the Fall. It is one mile marker in the lives of our Makua Lani Christian Academy’s seniors as well as other seniors all across the United States. It is become our tradition at Makua Lani to encourage our entire student body to participate in a Spirit Day in which they can announced their college choices by wearing gear and holding signs from their prospective school or future endeavors.

Our graduates this year were accepted to more than 40 different schools and received a variety of merit and athletic scholarships. We will have students from coast to coast as they will be headed to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida, Princeton University in New Jersey, Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego as well as many school in between.

Many of our students have felt a calling on their lives to serve the Lord through missions around the world with YWAM. They will be headed to places such as Kenya, Switzerland, and New Zealand to attend Discipleship Training Schools and then go on outreach to the nations.

During their senior year, they spend a lot of time doing research and prayer as they seek out the best fit for their college and career choices. They have multiple opportunities to sit with our college counselor to seek advice, assistance, and information regarding the process. Regardless if they choose college, missions, or decide to step right into the work force, we are here to offer encouragement and support to the students and their families.

We are excited to see how the Lord uses these amazing students. We are so very proud to call them alumni of Makua Lani Christian Academy.
